INTERNET BANKING

The new Internet Banking experience can be accessed in the same way you have been accessing Online Banking. Simply visit australianmilitarybank.com.au, click 'Internet Banking' in the top right-hand corner of the homepage, then sign in with your usual login details.   

If you have already registered and used Online Banking before you don’t need new login details to access the new Internet Banking experience. Simply use the same login details you have always used for Online Banking. 

If you have never used Internet Banking before you will have to register. Follow the steps in the FAQ below to find out how to register for Internet Banking.  

  1. Visit australianmilitarybank.com.au and click 'Internet Banking' in the top right-hand corner of the homepage. 
  2. Click ‘New to Internet Banking’.  
  3. Click 'Register Now' and enter your member number. 
  4. Select whether you would like to receive your One-Time-Password (OTP) via SMS or email. You will be sent your OTP via the method you have chosen. 
  5. Enter your 'OTP' and click 'Verify'. 
  6. Select a password between 8 and 16 characters, enter it twice, and click 'Continue'. 
  7. Select a secret question from the drop-down box, enter your answer, and click 'Continue'. 
  8. Finally set up your dashboard accounts. You will now be automatically logged in to Internet Banking. 

Reminder: This is a one-time process. Next time you log into Internet Banking, enter your member number and new password. 

The new Internet Banking experience will not affect any existing payments you have set up, or any of your personal settings. 

Our Internet Banking experience has been updated to match our current Mobile Banking app experience. Whilst we are always working to make your banking experience better, the Mobile Banking app will not be changing significantly in the near future.

You can personalise your dashboard by selecting your preferred accounts to feature in your ‘Accounts Summary’ section. 

To select your preferred accounts: 

  • Go to 'My details and Settings' on the left-hand navigation 
  • Click 'Dashboard Account Settings' 
  • Select your dashboard accounts 

New members can now join Australian Military Bank from Internet Banking. Simply visit australianmilitarybank.com.au, click 'Internet Banking' in the top right-hand corner of the homepage, click ‘Join’ and follow the instructions provided. 

You can create new accounts and apply for new products in Internet Banking. 

For Savings Accounts, Everyday Accounts, Term Deposits and more, go to 'Open new account' on the left-hand navigation, select the product category you want to open, followed by the account of your choosing. 

To apply for a Credit card, Personal, Car or Home Loan, go to 'Apply for a loan' on the left navigation, select the Loan category you want to open, followed by the Loan of your choice. 

A One Time Password (OTP) is a secondary authentication process which is used to confirm your identity and help keep your accounts and information secure.   

You will be able to receive your OTP via SMS or email, and can only use the password once. 

A secret question allows you to be identified when you call our Member Engagement Centre, visit us in branch, have forgotten your password for Internet Banking, or would like to change it. 

Internet Banking will allow 3 login attempts before blocking access to your accounts. If you have forgotten your password please follow the instructions in the link 'Forgot your password?' on the login page.   

You may have a pop-up blocker on your browser. To allow the window to appear, make sure you have allowed pop-ups from Australian Military Bank to appear in your browser settings. 

The most likely reason is that you have typed your member number incorrectly. Make sure that you’re entering your details correctly and have the ‘Num Lock’ key enabled on your key board.  

Another reason could be that your browser's internet options or preferences settings do not allow cookies. To enable cookies, please select this option in your browser settings. 

A transaction list displays all your transactions over a period of time you select. 

Please note: A transaction list is not the same as an Account Statement, which Australian Military Bank is required to issue you in accordance with your account terms and conditions. 

You can print or download a list of your transactions from the last 12 months. 

BPAY payments can only be used to pay bills bearing the BPAY logo. Please check your bill for the logo, and confirm you have entered the biller number correctly. 

Please check your bill to ensure you have entered the number correctly, with no spaces. If you still receive the message, contact the payee to confirm the details. 

Click on the ‘Future Payments’ button where all future dated payments are listed. Here you can view, modify, or cancel a future dated payment. 
1.    Click ‘Modify’ to view or modify details of a future dated payment. 
2.    Click ‘Delete’ to cancel a future dated payment. 
3.    After you have deleted or modified the payment, click ‘Confirm’. 

Internet Banking requires the latest web-browser technology. Try updating your browser and visiting Internet Banking again. 

Yes. As long as you have internet access you can access all Internet Banking functions from anywhere in the world. Please ensure that you maintain strict control over your login details and that the PC you are using is secure. 

Internet Banking will time out after 5 minutes of inactivity. Never keep Internet Banking open if you leave the computer you are working on, simply log out and log back when you return. 

Sometimes we perform housekeeping functions on the Internet Banking server. These usually only take a couple of minutes but can sometimes interrupt services. Wait a couple of minutes until the system is available, or close down your browser before relaunching and trying again.
